Galil Ace Threaded Variant Handguard, M-LOK™

Love my Galil Ace rifle, hated the polymer hand guard and polymer rails, and panels. I debated over which hand guard to purchase for my Galil Ace rifle (there are two companies) I went with MI because I have other MI products and for price versus value. This hand guard has transformed my Galil Ace rifle into my favorite rifle to shoot and was easy to install, make to have a torque driver. Yaaaaay Midwest Industries!

Fit my 7.62 x 39 Galil ACE pistol perfectly, and installed in less than 10 minutes. The tools and thread locker required to install the handguard were included. The narrower profile gives an improved feel over the clunky factory handguard. Only minor criticism is that the helicoil used for the rear mounting screw stands out like mad against the black anodize—nothing a dab of black paint can’t fix. Be sure to follow MI’s instructions to select the correct handguard for the mounting screw style of your gun! Well worth the money.

They tell you if you have questions to call them, PLEASE make sure you do. I called because I didn't know which one to get the 762x39 rail(my caliber is this) or the 556 version. The gentleman told me to take rail off with the provided hex key and to call him. I did just that, there are 2 bolts opposite sise of eachother, he asked was it smooth or threaded I said threaded so instead of me needing the 762x39 rail I actually needed the 556 rail...wtf? He stated that IWI didn't have a exact way of making the 556 version or 762x39 version, so the next guy could have a 762x39 caliber and it's smooth not threaded same with the 556 caliber. He was helpful saved me time and aggrevation. I received it in 2 days so shipping was fast. Install was easy and changed the look of rifle for the better. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS, looking forward towards my next purchase.

This was my second MI handguard/forend purchase, the first being a quad-rail for one of my AR shorties a few years ago... that one was awesome and is still going strong... this one replaces the IWI OEM setup which IMO is too bulky/heavy and puts pic rails where I don't need them without any choice of removing them... this slim, lightweight, and completely customizable replacement solves all of the original's issues, while having all of MI's smart design (7 rows of M-LOK, solid mount-up, and awesome aesthetics) along with MI's longstanding reputation for quality and affordable pricing... couldn't be more satisfied and after 1000's of rounds so far it's still solid as a rock... job well done...! Highly recommended.

Really like this replacement handguard over the bulky foregrip the pistol came with. Feels lighter, much slimmer in the hand, looks great. Easy installation, went quickly, and a well made product. Can't see a case in which I'd revert to the stock plastic handguard.

This excellent hand guard is just what my Galil Ace needed. The Ace is a sturdy yet heavy firearm, and the stock hand guard does it no favors in the weight department. Replacing the stock hand guard with the Midwest Industries rifle-length hand guard really made the Ace not only lighter, but feel better in my hands. I'm 5'7", and I have what I would consider to be normal sized hands (glove size M). The Midwest Industries hand guard feels much better, and has the added bonus of having M-Lok slots to attach items when/if the need arises. For now, I have put some grip panels on mine where my hand is and it feels very sturdy and solid. The construction of these hand guards is second-to-none. I am very impressed with the quality and sturdiness of this hand guard. I have purchased Midwest Industries hand guards for other firearms I own (Omega OM-9, AR-15's, etc) and they are consistently of high quality. I recommend them highly and they are my go-to when I need an M-Lok hand guard.

Out of the box looking good. Lighter with cleaner lines than the OEM handguard. Was really easy to fit to thr rifle, watched the video and voila, about 10 mins and it was done. Looks really good, feels and fires really great also.. Cheaper and better than the RS handguard IMHO.

The Finished looks and feel great. The hand guard is lighter than the stock hand guard and is very easy to, install. A great must have. Shipping was very fast.

First off this hand guard is lighter that stock!! Made very well and install easy, especially with online video. Finished look and feel is Badass. Should of come this way out of the box. I have the rifle length, perfect for my needs: 3 gun, etc. Shipping was fast and came with all the tools. Great product, high quality for sure.
