4 A bit tight, but works

Purchased fixed stock without actually reading print carefully not knowing that it's not a folding stock. But adapter works well. It's a little tight to fold, but works. Make sure your firearm is empty so it won't discharge because of the force you might have to use to fold the stock

I ordered this for a special project, not for the gun for which it was presumably built. This is a very solid, heavy piece of steel and is likely indestructible. For my purpose, building a custom stock to replace the form on a Ruger LC Carbine, it was the right sort of part, but way too stiff out of the box. The lockup in the straight mode is so tight that I could not unlock to fold the hinge to the open position. To fix this, I removed the hinge barrel spring and cut one full turn off, shortening it and greatly reducing the lockup tension. I can now pull up and over on a straight stock and fold it with one hand while still holding the rifle with the other hand. Additionally I took a stone to the lockup dovetail sections and smoothed their angular profile to be rounded. I love that this is solid steel, as I want to weld my intended skeletal minimal stock directly to the hinge. As a hobby machinist, this is the sort of part I would THINK I can make cheaper, but I would be wrong. This is absolutely worth every penny.

This is a well built folder and I've used it on several rifles. It's fine for AKs and such but on AR style rifles with charging handles (like the Spear LT) the knuckle gets in the way of a left hand weapon charge (which as a rightly I do a lot). So while it's a nice knuckle I'm looking for a replacement for this rifle.

I accidentally bought the midwest industries beam with a picatinny rail adapter instead of the folding adapter and this fixed my problem. Installation was fast and zero to none. Awesome product and super fast shipping!

I bought this MI hinge to add a wood folding stock on an AK M92 SBR build. The hinge is sturdy and well built, it fits my project perfectly!

4 Built very well with premium materials. Stap folding mechanism is a bit tough to engage the mech to unlock and fold but do it 50 times and it gets easier. Great product and great company
