As with all Midwest Ind. products this one also is far beyond the others and the stock one that comes on the Scorpion. Fit and finish excellent. Very fast shipping. I am well pleased with all the products I have gotten from Midwest Industries. If someone want to change their handguard on their Scorpion I highly recommend this one, you well be very happy you did. Thank You Midwest Ind. for another well made product.

5 Best hand guard

First off I feel like I won’t the hand guard lottery. Product was out of stock and had been waiting for it to for about 2 months. As soon as the product was back in stock I jumped on it and was able to purchase this awesome product, and glad I did it didn’t stay in stock long. Buy the barrel nut tool, I repeat buy the barrel not tool. After conquering the barrel nut installation was a breeze and mad the scorpion look the way it should have come in the first place. Buy this when you can and you won’t be disappointed

I was lucky enough to get one of these and Im glad I did.. and let me tell you its a beast. Its hard to tell by the pics but theres a large block that clamps onto the barrel that holds this on. *Must be torqued to 55inch/pounds btw.. but the handguard is a good 1/16” thick almost 3/16”. The idea for qd mounts is ingenious, the other on the market doesn’t have this feature. Its just dead space on other rails. Alignment with the top receiver pic rail is close. There is a slight drop from the receiver to the handguard, no biggie to me. Maybe a 1/32 drop. installation, it went on in minutes, (after breaking the barrel but which was a b@tch) so get a barrel nut tool most definitely. Also you can re-use the stock brake assembly if you like.

I got the hand-guard, and the craftsmanship is fantastic. Easy install! I had a few questions after receiving and midwest was very helpful. very comfortable with this company and will be back to by from in future.

Fits perfectly. The finish is top notch. It is about 10 times better than the factory handguard. The charging handle doesn't bind up. I wouldn't hesitate at all with purchasing it.
