4 Vital tool
Posted by Douglas on Apr 27th 2022
This is an absolute must for SP barrel nuts. I had a second hand upper with an SP handguard. I destroyed the barrel nut when attempting to switch barrels. Got a new barrel nut and wrench from MI. Good price and quick delivery. Even with the extra teeth on this wrench it is easy to put too much force on the relatively fragile SP barrel nut. There is no way to properly install an SP without this wrench. I wish the material used in the SP barrel nut was stronger, but this wrench worked as advertised.

4 Worked great

Simple basic tool that worked great on my PA10. Fits barrel nut with no damage. Shipping is more than the cost of the tool but well worth it.

3 Not the best
Posted by Unknown on Jul 10th 2019
To start off, I should mention that my rifle had an OEM installed barrel nut that was possibly over torqued or missing grease. I ordered the tool and shipping was fast. When I used the nut tool, it wanted to jump off the nut. I had to apply over 100ft lbs to the tool, and the tool failed before the nut gave. A nut and tool design like the ALG system gives a much larger bearing face and prevents cam out. I like the rail but there is room for optimization. I had to send the barreled upper to a gunsmith for removal.

5 Why a Turn On!
Posted by Dr PC on Jul 27th 2017
Well, it turns barrel nuts off too, but it was a perfect fit for my Midwest barrel nut. I had purchased a spare barrel nut just in case I couldn't get the old one lose, totally not required, but now I have a spare or the start of another upper.

5 High quality, super fast customer Service

Ordered on Tuesday, in mailbox Friday! This wrench was perfect for the barrel nut for a Stinger free floating handguard. Wrench is high quality and a cost of $10 it can't be beat.
