Great design, might need updated

Receiver rail is nicely made, fits perfectly. My only real complaint is that front sight screw spacing does not match current production Marlin 1894 Trapper models, it's too narrow. One minor quibble is that with the T1 version *some* compatible optics will co-witness, but some do not. The Romeo5 does, and the Swampfox Raider is too high. It's OK for my intended setup, but something to be aware of.

Fit and finish of the rail portion is perfect, as usual with MI products. The supplied front sight will not fit current production 1894 Trapper models, the screw spacing is too narrow. I bought the T1 version, and it co-witnesses nicely with a Romeo5, but I prefer the Swampfox Raider which does not.

These sights are as dope as Postie himself. If you have an 1894 in pistol caliber your highly durable sight options are kinda limited. And these not only looks great, they function great as well. Dial them in for your preferred load lock right it down and go pound some brush!! The only downside is that mounting a scope to the short rail would be kinda tight.. but if you are using a red dot, you’ll be fine!
