All defensive weapons should have a mounted light, and if you are using a Mil spec rifle that can be very difficult and or expensive, once again Midwest Industries come to the rescue with a very well made option to mount a two sided section that allows you to mount a rock solid pic rail section to your A2 front sight post and for around $30, that is why these guys get all my AR money!

Solid lock up super easy to install. Qd socket locks up super good. Great product if your front sight post gun is running plastic handguards.

This product is amazing. Definitely a great solution to add a rail on the A2 sight. Seems very sturdy but it hasn't been tested yet. My light mounted up easily and it's nice being able to mount on the left and right side.
