I'm not the biggest Midwest fan for a number of reasons. However, I'm very impressed with their MCX offerings. I have this and an SD rail for the Rattler - both are fantastic. Good design, aesthetics, function, quality.

5 Great rail

I bought this for my SBR MCX. I have been impressed with the quality of the rail. Fit is perfect- everything lines up and is nice and tight. I like this rail much better than factory, it has less overall diameter and feels much much better than the original. This should have been the rail to ship with the rifle.

5 What the Virtus should come with standard

This is the handguard that Sig should ship the Virtus with standard from the factory! Completely changes the feel of my 11.5" pistol in my hands. Even though I wear an XL glove the factory handguards were just way too large to get a comfortable or controllable grip on the pistol with. These more closely replicate an AR style fore-end and make my Virtus much more enjoyable to shoot.

Just got mine in the other day and it's incredible!! The finish is top notch and the feeling in hand is far superior to the OEM one by far. Now for y'all to possibly color match these for not only the Noctis, but the concrete gray and the flat dark earth as well. As an end user I wouldn't change a single thing beyond the color, but that's just me being nit picky. Thanks for such a wonderful piece of equipment Midwest, and please keep up the amazing work. Maybe a version two with integrated QD slots will surface one day with the above mentioned color matching.

Fits my new mcx virtus perfectly. The oiginal handguard was too long for me - replaced it with the black 12.5 inch. Slides right on and looks great.

Exact same use case and feedback as the reviewer from Phoenix except I am running it with the 762Ti qd. Excellent quality, fit and finish. Makes for an awesome truck/bag gun with this handguard/barrel length plus folding brace/stock on virtus. Highly recommended.

5 Perfect hand guard for going very short

Ordered this handguard for my Virtus after I received approval to convert the rifle to an SBR. I had a couple of very specific use cases in mind when I ordered this handguard: 1. Being able to shoot the 6.75" 300 BLK barrel unsuppressed (impossible with the OEM hand guards, which extend past the barrel) 2. Being able to shoot the 6.75" BLK barrel suppressed without having to use one of the extra-wide hand guards that wrapped around the can So far, the handguard has performed perfectly - the very short length allows the muzzle of the 6.75" 300 BLK to clear the handguard fully when shot unsuppressed, and the handguard is *just* short enough to accept my SRD-762 QD (non Ti) suppressor for when I want to put it on. Fit and finish are great too, but I do suggest some kind of forward grip, as there is very little room to actually hold it up otherwise. I highly recommend this handguard if you're looking to experiment with ultra-short configurations for your Virtus.

I bought this part for my 9" 300 blackout barrel. The part fits perfectly, and has outstanding fit and finish. It has a rail piece for the M-LOC that works great for adding a weapon mounted light. Excellent part, great customer service, and thank you!!
