I wouldn't mind one of those cheesy dust covers that says "300 BLK" really big, but other than that it is a sweet upper. I zeroed my red dot in 10 rounds (record for me), and the 11th shot smoked a 1lb tannerite from 50 yards standing. I really like the handguard too. I like it better than my older MI handguard I have.

The fit and finish are just what you would expect from a quality company. Midwest industries test fires their uppers for quality control. The barrel is marked "mid ind 300 blk 1/7 5r 4150 CrMoV" under the handguard. I put mine on a pistol lower with a geissele super 42 h1 buffer and shot only supers, function was flawless. I shot 5 groups with different ammo at 100 yards with a 24x scope to test accuracy. My best group was at 1.9 moa with sig 125gr. My other off the shelf ammo shot between 2 and 3 moa.
