I put MI rails on just about every rifle I have. Perfect fit, and looks great. 5 stars - with one recommendation: the supplied screws are on the short side. They are only engaging about 2 to 2 1/2 threads. I do not believe they would take the recommended torque. There's room in the receiver holes for longer screws. Screws that engage 4 threads would be better.

Did exactly what I needed on my model 94 Marlin, the extra length let me set my scope farther forward and gave me more eye relief, looks like a top-quality piece, I would highly recommend it.

installed this rail on very early marlin 1895 - 45-70 , it fits perfect and looks great, can still use open sights which is nice. Thanks Midwest for a great product which brought this 50 year old gun up to date in the 21st century.
