I am early in it's use, but this shell holder does an excellent job and absolutely speeds up reloads, especially in the violin position.

Great quality, holds the 30 30 shell tighter then expected. I personally took the top 2 holders off and moved them to the for-grip. Works well on the clock system. Well worth the price to get this and the stock together,fast shipping, I'm impressed with both the butt stock and the Shell holder. Great products

Easy to install, holds 44 mag well. Easy to insert rounds. Holds on tight(which is what i wanted going through the woods)so it takes some effort to remove rounds. Would definitely buy again!

This added the finishing touch to the stock I bought. Shipped quickly with the stock. Really easy to install on the stock and holds 12 extra rounds of 357 Mag or 38 special a lot more snug than I thought it would. They aren’t gonna rattle out, as a matter of fact, you’d have to hit it pretty hard or snag it pretty hard to pull one loose on accident.

Looks great and works great. Reason for 4 stars is it’s incredibly tight to use for 45/70. It also sits low enough in the stock that I chose not to use the bottom center shell holders because the casings sit too far below the stock and if you put shells in the center top holders, there really is not room to use the lower ones.
