5 Fantastic AKM block

I found the AK Receiver maintenance block to be a must buy for anyone that plans on doing maintenance on their AKM Whether it be a regular AKM or AK-74 patterned rifles. It fit both styles well and held up in my older vise quite well.

I love this tool!! There are tons of jigs for building but I had not found a tool as handy and easy to use for basic maintenance, cleaning, and bolt stripping as this one. Thank you Midwest.

A Well thought out Block, Very Durable. Is it possible, to maybe add on 1 side, an inlet for the Front sight for driving out the Pins, and on the other side, maybe an Inlet for the Pin in the Gas Block? On standard 1mm stamped and milled receiver AKMs, it fits well enough, even on 5.56 variants. It's basically like any standard mag, there will be a little play in your magwell. While I can insert it into my 1.5mm Yugo pattern AKs, they wobble a LOT more and steady the gun less. MI might have to do a separate one that fits Yugos better.
