This thing totally transformed my M&P Sport 2. It’s much slimmer and sleeker than you’d imagine. Completely changes the look and feel of the gun, not to mention the m-Lok and QD slots all over it. No messing with the gas block and keeps the integrity of the original M&P design. A must have for anyone with this AR. Piece of cake to install as long as you have the handguard tool to remove the existing handguard. Buy it!!!!

This is a great upgrade to the plastic handguards. Fit perfectly on a Saint AR-15. Very solid lock up. Very nice fit and finish. Great product.

Perfect Accessory! I bought a M&P AR-15 Sport II. Nice rifle, but I definitely wanted to change that plastic Handguard. I did a lot of research & found this one Made in USA, lightweight & M-LOK! Exactly what I was looking for. I made a tool to depress the Delta Ring on my rifle and ordered the Midwest Industries Handguard. Easy to install & it fit like a glove! Great service from MI and a really nice product!

Just got this and it took 2 minutes to replace the cheap plastic guard on my mp sport 2. The carbine guard is a perfect fit (I recommend 2 people to put it in as it takes some muscle to get the mount depressed enough). Feels great, looks great and has the QD mount already in for the sling. Extra picatinny piece to attach whatever you want. I didn't want a full length free float because I wanted to keep the iron sites and not have to deal with removing that.

I've been using Midwest Industries products for many years and everything is high quality. This drop in handguard is no exception. Perfect fit/finish, very lightweight and locks in super tight. Just be aware if you are installing this on an AR-10 platform the picatinny rail on the handguard may not be the same height as the picatinny rail on the receiver. Some AR-10's have higher height rails than an AR-15. This is the case with a WW 308 SRC. The handguard still locks in place but the picatinny rail is slightly lower than the receiver. This doesn't really bother me because I don't plan on mounting anything on the handguard picatinny rail anyway. I highly recommend this drop in handguard.
