This is truly a quality handguard, the finish is excellent, the edges are smooth and it fit like a glove on my mack 5. Very easy to install as well. If you like the "quadraiil" look I highly recommend it.

Great Handguard with some minor flaws

I love the look of picatinny rails on my guns but I also appreciate the lightweight, low-profile that MLOK offers so I was excited when I saw MI come out with a rail with both! The issue I have is that the MLOK sections are only on the right side and the section is angled so it doesn't work with my weapon light. The front MP5 sight blocks the light head. If your light mount puts the light farther away from the rail then you might be ok. I wish they would have done PicLok so you could mount the MLOK accessories in line with the front of the picatinny sections. That should be an easy modification as it's just machining. Maybe they'll add this in a future version but as of now, it's not really usable with my light. Great quality though.

Basicly this is a very high value picatinny rail for the Mp5. It would be perfect if they would have extended the rail out into the trunnion just a bit just like the Kac rail everyone loves. Other than that, it locks up solidly and I appreciate the mlok sections and qd mounts.

Solid lock up with picatinny parts, fitment is really nice. The 2 additional 45 degree MLOK slots are a nice addition. Rail weighs 161g (accord ding to my scale, very light. Highly recommend as a PIC Tri Rail.
