I bought this to attach a Streamlight PROTAC® RAIL MOUNT 2 LONG GUN LIGHT to an old Bushmaster that had original M4 handguards and a front sight base. I used the end-cap switch on the light, and it works perfectly. I love how rugged and lightweight MI products are!

I purchased 2 AR15A4 rifles and wanted to keep them as close to my original equipment while in Military. These mounts for a light fit the bill! This is the best accessory to get rail on an AR without any rails. This device is light, and holds securely. I have owned three over the last few years and the quality is consistent.

I’m very impressed with this upgrade on my AR. Love the QD mount for my sling as a nice bonus. No issue mounting my weapon light to my rifle with this. Installation took me about 30 seconds.

Attached to M4A1 Carbine build. Worked out perfectly for tactical light mount. Although a pressure switch was mounted right behind it, the location and position is perfect for an endcap light switch. Before mounting pressure switch, I could easily reach flashlight endcap with my thumb without losing my grip on the handguard. As a surprise bonus, the QD mount hole on the opposite side gave me an improved option for attaching the sling... The sling just hangs better from the sight tower than from the side quad rail. Excellent quality... 1 minute install.
