For 3d printed 22LR projects, this is the way to go. Use this with a forged upper and nice barrel and you're set.

5 MWI AR barrel nut

Designed for MWI floating handguards, this barrel nut requires no indexing. A barrel wrench for 1/2" torque wrenches is supplied when purchasing an entire handguard kit, but having bought two complete handguards previously, I had them on hand to install this nut on a new upper. Perfect fit.

My experience with MI parts has been smooth. Parts fit, things work together as they should. This low-profile barrel nut is nearly effortless to install, using the MI tool supplied with complete handguard sets.

I have used 4 Midwest handguards on builds I have done and lost the barrel nut to my last build so I had to replace it. Midwest is the only handguards or QD optic/scope mounts I will use in a new build or updating a friend or two existing AR upper !!!
