Love this handguard I got it in black color looks really nice with my fde scar 17.the video they have on the website helped me alot with installation. This product is high quality for a high quality firearm.

with install video, instalation is easy, just be carefull and cover the plastic around the two rear takedown screws when heating bottom rear screw with torch as mine started to melt on one of corners from the heat, luckly I caught it real soon and just barely melted a corner. Cover with a welding glove and should be fine.

The video is very good. It is best to watch it thru first and then breakdown the video into small steps. I made sure that I had all the tools including the small blowtorch before beginning the installation. Definitely the best video on how to complete the installation.

Love it. Wasn't horrible to install. I used a soldering iron instead of a torch to heat up the factory threadlock. BE PATIENT with it. It took mine a solid 15 minutes to heat up enough to break through. It truly completes my 16. My only complaint is that it's a little on the heavier-than-expected side, but I can overlook this.

The quality and attention to detail is top notch, and obvious that much thought went into the design. The front 12 o’clock rail is just low enough that a Streamlight TLR-1HL clears the reticle in my accupower at 1x and at 2x-8x its not visible at all. It’s a much more ergonomic width than the pic rails or KDG because its the same width as the upper instead of how the KDG rail wraps around the outside of the upper. The rail seems like it should come on the rifle from FNH it fits, works, and looks so right. It matches the upper better than the FNH polymer lower. M.I. exceeded my every expectation from product quality to the amount of swag they sent me when I asked for stickers. I am actually basing my next rifle purchase on products that M.I. makes, instead of buying a gun hoping a company makes aftermarket upgrades. Without question, I’m a M.I. customer for life. Incredible company that won’t disappoint.

Love it completely. Perfect for turning my scar into a DMR precision machine. I can get a better stance while standing and it lets me place my bipod further out for better stability, also drops my laser below the line of sight so I don't see it in my scope at lower Magnification and closes the gap between the original rails and my suppressor and kinda brings the look of the gun all together
