So before I got this I saw all kinds of videos of people struggling to get them on. If you follow the directions provided it can take less than 3 minutes to install. Fits perfectly on my MAC 5K.

Happy so far with the rail. Mounting was easy and simple. Only issue was when torqueing one of the long screws, it snapped. Luckily, one of the short screws worked as a replacement.

Very well-made component, after the two little hiccups denoted below everything is rock solid and holding zero great. First Hiccup: In the paper instructions the comes in the box it denotes the tapered part of the retention blocks to be pointing downwards. This can be interpreted two ways the first being the slope "pointing" downhill. The other way would be the taper facing the floor. In this case I unfortunately interpreted the it the wrong way which led to some issues. However, not deducting any stars as they have a video on their website that makes it clear as day - only advice would be to simply include a QR code to the youtube link - or clarify the printed instructions with snippets from the video. 2nd Hiccup is on my AP5 I needed the longer bolts, my thread engagement is only halfway through the blocks at the bottom - while it's fine it is a little annoying to have to figure that out then realize I need to do another other - not a big deal however with how cheap the hardware is I would recommend bumping the price of the rail up a few bucks and working the cost of the short and extended hardware into the bundle. However- also not deducting any stars here as it does come up in the recommended products so it is a debatable point. Overall I would buy again and recommend to others as it gives you a great area to mount a pressure pad for a light.

I had a little trouble with things in the beginning, but that is not a bad thing because the way that is designed for you to know that it’s perfectly seated and leveled. It’s a great product durable, reliable, and accurate whenever you put an optic on it and I love it !!

Rail fit extremely well. Well-made and nicely finished No movement at all. Wedges were tight and precise. Best rail for what I needed. Plan to install a light and red dot next.

This mount is an innovative and effective solution to the lack of space to mount accessories on an MP5k. The construction is solid and the fit & finish are excellent, which is what I've come to expect from MI products.
