Keltec KSG M-Lock mount w/hand stop

I have 2 KSG’s and I have this on both of them. I consider it a must have for the KSG. Whether you run the vertical grip or just the factory handguard the hand stop that comes with this is a must. Will definitely keep your hand from going in front of the muzzle. It also allows you to do one hand manipulations like wounded officer drills. I am able to run if flashlight set up on either side using a vertical grip. In my opinion helps complete the look of the KSG and should be a factory option or factory offered accessory.

Use Red Threadlocker (Loctite)

The other reviews mentioned this wobbles a bit, I noticed that too after install. I put some red loctite on the bolt, threaded it back on, and wobbling stopped entirely. Less is more, I just did two dabs on the bolt and now it holds tight!

Quality product that’s great for safety. Only thing it’s a bit loose on the lower rail. I used a piece of hangar wire as a spacer in between the rail. Now it’s tight with tread to spare. That’s the only issue.

4.5 Stars - more mounting options

Right now, I would rate this 4.5 stars, but can't give .5 increments. I am planning on using this primarily for the M-Lok slots to mount a light/laser to be more inline with the barrel. It is nice that the hand stop is not required to be installed. However, the main body is a bit loose without it (where the .5 star is being dropped). The main body does not have a sliding lock part, like other picatinny accessories, and wiggles even when the mounting bolt is tightened down. Adding the hand stop corrects this. I grip the stock with my thumb forward. It would be interesting to test out having the hand stop on the rear of the mount, this would keep my thumb away from the end of the barrel. It is light and easy to install. I am excited to put rounds through it and see how it holds up.

Excellent addition to KSG

You can leave the hand guard portion off if you just want the solid MLOK slots - the whole thing looks great, easy install, and is light weight. Of course made in the USA
