5 Quick, Fast, and Reliable.

I can say this mount works. It's strong, built very well, and it's Midwest Industries it's going to do the job. What I really love about this QD - mount. Is no tools are needed for adjusting it's rock solid on holding zero. Having it on my Benelli m4 and shooting high brass shot shells buck, or slugs it holds on. Midwest Industries knows what they are doing.

5 Know your height over bore
Posted by Alex on Aug 13th 2023
I got the "lower ⅓" model online and it was a bit higher than all other lower ⅓ models, so it didn't line up with my magnifiers or allow me to use my irons. I went by the MI HQ in Wisconsin (cause I live nearby) and asked them what's up. They swapped it out for an "absolute cowitness" mount which was more like a standard "lower ⅓" mount. So essentially the MI mounts are a little taller than most others, so keep that in mind.

5 Aimpoint T1/T2 QD Red Dot Mount
Posted by Patrick on Jul 15th 2023
This is my no-brainer go to mount. Once you see how it works you could have it adjusted and in place in just a minute or two. First time takes a little longer as you work through the learning curve. Honestly, I’ve stopped looking. I check Midwest first. If they have what I need, I have what I need.

5 AIMPOINT T1/T2CQD MOUNT
Posted by Patrick on Jun 22nd 2023
Midwest is where the buck stopped for me when it comes to mounting optics. My search for the best mount for my use ended at Midwest. Products are innovative, rugged and durable. QD mounts are super easy to install. For my needs there is no reason to look further. What I need is right here. This model is being used to mount a Sig Red Dot on an AR platform. Another is being used to mount a Sig Red Dot on a Ruger 10/22 Take-Down. I couldn’t be happier with the results.

4 Works as advertised! Would buy again!
Posted by Tyler on May 26th 2020
Works great! Zeroed, removed, and put back on a couple times and it returns to zero. The qd lever is quick and easy. Over all the whole thing is awesome. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is personal and figured no one would read this if it were 5. I have a Holosun HS403B and the magpul MBUS Pro front and rear flip sights, for this combo the red dot sits too high to co-witness.(but thats why we buy qd right?) Not a problem, remove it and go to the BUIS. None of what I am saying is to take away from this mount or midwest industries. Just be aware that if you own a clone that mounts the same as an Aimpoint, it may not co-witness properly.

4 MI-QDT1-1/3
Posted by Chet Manley on May 26th 2020
I bought the MI-QDT1-1/3 to mount my Sig Romeo 5 on my AR to use with a magnifier. The mount is solid. Return to zero is fantastic. My only complaint (not sure if it's with the mount or optic itself) is that the optic and mount have a gap, even after torquing the four screws to their proper ft/lb. There appears to be no negative effect on the performance though, so I can't really complain. Good bang for buck with this mount.

5 Awesome Mount
Posted by Jim on May 6th 2020
I recently purchased this mount, through another vendor as it was out of stock here at the time I needed, and it is a great piece of gear. The lock up is solid and it comes with all the needed hardware. I will purchase another one of these for my next T1/T2 optic. Midwest makes some of the best quality and affordable optics mounts.
