I have a lot of these two port brakes in calibers from 5.56 to .375 (after they have been bored out of course). While they do not quite reduce recoil as much as the MI three port brake, they are very close and do an excellent job or reducing recoil and keeping muzzle rise to a minimum all the while offering a more streamlined appearance. The three port MI brake, which I also have quite a few in calibers from 5.56 to .458 (again, after boring out) is also an outstanding brake offering great recoil reduction and minimal muzzle rise, only it is not quite as streamlined.
