This is my second build. My first build I had to line up the barrel nut for the gas tube. This was much easier to install. The hand guard fit well and very stable. I would recommend it for any 308 build.

Really love this handguard. Replaced the stock handguard on my M&P10 AR308. Had similar MI handguard on my M&P15 3-Gun Model and liked it. Install was easy and fit is real nice. Would recommend to anybody looking to upgrade their stock handguard.

I've ordered handguards for my AR-15s before from MidWest, but this was my first 308 build and was a little concern about the fit. I made sure it was the correct hight for the receiver I have before ordering the handguard. As always MidWest did not disappoint. The handguard was a perfect fit for my Stag 308 receiver. The finished look, looks like it came from Stag already assembled. The picatiny rail lines up perfectly with the rail on the receiver. Assembly was easy and took less than 20 minutes, and that was with me taking my time. My next build will definitely have a MidWest handguard.

The fit and finish of MI handguards is second to none. The solid fit on billet receivers is a huge plus as some of the other big name require grinding or mods to make fit properly. I've got 4 rifles running MI rails now and keep coming back for more. The quality for the price is unbeatable! They are solid and can take hard use without any issue. There is a reason so many places source their rails.

I purchased this for my first .308 AR build. Installation was a breeze. I've installed a number of FF handguards on AR pattern rifles. MI handguards are as simple and sturdy as it gets. The rail is flush and symmetrical with the rail on my DPMS upper. It cleared the low-profile gas block (0.875" dia.) on my 20" M110 contour barrel. This was my first time ordering directly from Midwest and they didn't play around with getting it shipped out. They stand for quality parts and service IMO.
