Like many I assume, I have a box full of rings and light mounts-yet keep getting more for different applications. This product solidly hits the mark to put a 1" flashlight very close to a section of rail-the tightest I've found. So if you have an application where that's the desired endstate, this is a nice quality, non-expensive, and low profile solution.
